Perform driving requirements for the District school bus routes. Available for morning and afternoon routes throughout the school year. Four Day School Week Monday -Thursday, Ten Months with Thanksgiving, Christmas and Spring Break off. $9,000 for the route.

 

Perform minor repairs with minimal supervision to ensure proper performance and safety of district vehicles. Perform assigned work following established policies and procedures. Perform daily cleaning and service of buses.

 

 

Education/Certification

Clear and valid Texas commercial driver's license with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsement.

3. Ability to visually inspect and service vehicles
4. Ability to operate equipment and tools involved in servicing vehicles
5. Ability to perform mathematical calculations and the ability to diagnose and resolve problems
6. Ability to pass U.S. Department of Transportation alcohol and drug tests and physical exam
7. Ability to operate bus or vehicle
8. General knowledge of automotive, diesel and fuel engine maintenance and repair
